A big THANK YOU to Lezlie Green of the Promotion Group and Cheetah Printing. They have donated boxes and boxes of school supplies, backpacks, water bottles and writing materials to help the children in Afghanistan attend school. The supplies are distributed by Army personnel when on patrol, or when working with locals to improve schools, hospitals or the community. We’ve been sending soccer balls and toys to both Afghanistan and Iraq for a while, but when we asked for a little help on writing supplies, they rose to the occasion magnificently. If you want to donate additional supplies, feel free to contact the office. Pens, pencils, crayons, soccer balls, beanie babies, matchbox cars and candy are always favorites. Used items in good condition are welcome.
July 4th Celebration, Chanhassen
Iron River will be hanging out in Chanhassen for their annual 4th of July Celebration on July 3rd from 3:30-6:30. Looks like a great time.

As a Certified Contractor we are authorized to off the Weather Stopper System Plus Warranty- a non-prorated warranty that includes both labor AND materials for 20 years. Certified Contractors have to use the highest quality materials and take continuing education classes every year for correct installation procedures, product information and customer service.

Certified Woman Owned Business (WBE)
Iron River has been certified as a Woman Owned Business Enterprise. The state of Minnesota has a long and arduous process (takes about 6 months) to determine if a company is qualified to be designated as a WBE. Many documents are required and the interview process is lengthy. We are pleased to now be able to bid on projects that require a certain percentage of women or disadvantaged businesses. We are also part of the CERT program, (Central Certification Program-sponsored by the City of Minneapolis, the City of St. Paul, Hennepin County and Ramsey County.)
Saturday Re-cap
The Home and Landscape Expo had a great turnout on Saturday. Lots of folks turned out to see new products, ideas, and some very informative lectures on how to take care better care of your home and environs.
Grace Church was a lovely venue, and the way they had the Expo laid out was sensible and very visitor friendly.
We ran into a few former customers, and it’s always nice to hear how happy they were with our work, and that they’d like a bid from us for their next home improvement project.
